2021 Quality Enhancement Grants
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s Quality Enhancement Grants program supports quality improvement efforts in early learning programs serving children birth to five in the Kansas City region.
Qualifying non-profit and for-profit programs in Johnson and Wyandotte counties in Kansas and Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties in Missouri are eligible for grants of up to $100,000 per year over two years. Organizations working directly with early learning programs on quality improvement initiatives also qualify for this opportunity.
These grants will enable organizations to improve existing programs through teacher and leader development, curriculum enhancements, child screening and assessment, and organizational strengthening.*
*Organizational strengthening could include board development, strategic planning, program evaluation, executive coaching, etc.
Applications for 2021 Quality Enhancement Grants will open March 2 and are due April 6. Recipients of 2020 Quality Enhancement Grants are not eligible to apply in 2021.
To support applicants in this process, we are offering two different opportunities: an informational webinar on March 9 to discuss eligibility criteria and the application process, and by-appointment application assistance sessions the weeks of March 8 and March 15 to assist with individual application questions. All sessions are optional. To participate, please register below.
Participation in the webinar requires you download the Zoom application. Please allow additional time prior to the webinar if it is your first time using Zoom.
